Life can be messy, overwhelming, and full of ups and downs—but you don’t have to navigate it alone. I provide counseling for teens, adults, couples, and families in a safe, compassionate space where you can be heard, understood, and supported as you work toward healing, connection, and growth.

I often support clients who are navigating:

Anxiety and chronic overthinking

Stress from balancing work, motherhood, and relationships

Pregnancy, postpartum, and early motherhood mental health support

Marriage counseling for rebuilding connection and trust

So many of us learn early on how to hold it all together — to be the responsible one, the strong one, the easy one. You may be the high achiever. The dependable friend. The thoughtful daughter. The one who doesn’t fall apart.

On the outside, it looks like you’re managing. Inside, you might feel anxious, exhausted, constantly overthinking, or quietly wondering why it never quite feels like enough.

In individual therapy, I create a steady, safe space where you don’t have to perform or perfect yourself. Together, we’ll slow things down and gently explore the patterns that keep you stuck — the pressure to be “too much” or “not enough,” the fear of disappointing others, the ways anxiety shows up when connection feels uncertain.

Because we are wired for connection, many of our struggles make sense in light of our relationships — past and present. As we begin to understand how your protective patterns developed, you’ll learn how to respond to yourself with more compassion and clarity instead of criticism and control.

With teens and adults — especially high-achieving women and perfectionists — our work often focuses on quieting the inner critic, softening rigid expectations, building emotional awareness, and creating a steadier sense of security from the inside out.

My goal isn’t to change who you are. It’s to help you feel more grounded in who you already are — confident, connected, and deeply enough.

I see clients in person in Gallatin, Tennessee, and virtually across the state, making it easier to prioritize your own growth, even in a full season of life.

Couples Counseling

Every relationship goes through seasons. Sometimes you feel close and in sync. Other times, you find yourselves stuck in the same argument, pulling away, or wondering how you ended up feeling so far apart.

Maybe you’re preparing for marriage and want to build something strong and secure from the beginning. Maybe you’ve been together for years and feel more like roommates than partners. Or maybe there’s been a hurt that neither of you quite knows how to move past.

In couples counseling, we won’t just focus on communication tips or conflict management. We’ll slow down the moments that matter and look at the pattern the two of you get caught in — the pursue-withdraw dance, the defensiveness, the shutdown, the escalation. Instead of asking “Who’s right?” we’ll ask, “What’s happening between you right now?”

Using an emotionally focused, attachment-based approach, I help couples understand the deeper fears and longings underneath their reactions — the need to feel chosen, valued, safe, and connected. When those needs are understood and responded to, something shifts. Walls soften. Conversations feel less threatening. Connection begins to feel possible again.

I offer premarital counseling using the Prepare/Enrich framework, as well as therapy for couples who feel stuck, disconnected, or overwhelmed by recurring patterns. Whether you’re dating, engaged, newly married, expecting, new parents or years into life together, my goal is to help you create a relationship that feels secure, steady, and deeply connected — a relationship that feels like home again.
