Life can be messy, overwhelming, and full of ups and downs—but you don’t have to navigate it alone. I provide counseling for children, adults, couples, and families in a safe, compassionate space where you can be heard, understood, and supported as you work toward healing, connection, and growth.
So many of us feel the constant pressure to hold everything together — to be the patient parent, the supportive partner, the dependable friend, the dedicated professional. On the outside, it might look like you’re managing just fine. But inside, you may feel stretched thin, running on empty, or finding it hard to slow down without feeling guilty.
In individual therapy, I offer a calm, nonjudgmental space to set down those expectations for a while. This is a space just for you — to breathe, process, and rediscover what you truly need to feel grounded and whole again. Together, we’ll look at the beliefs, patterns, and “shoulds” that keep you stuck in overdrive, and begin replacing them with compassion, boundaries, and balance.
Our work might include learning to notice what your body and emotions are telling you, finding ways to quiet your inner critic, and creating rhythms that make room for rest and joy again. My goal is to walk alongside you as you move from overwhelm toward peace, confidence, and a deeper sense of self — the version of you that feels steady, present, and enough.
I see clients in person in Gallatin, Tennessee, and virtually across the state, making it easier to find time for yourself — even in a full season of life.
Individual Therapy
Every relationship moves through seasons of joy, change, and challenge. Maybe you’re preparing for marriage and want to build a strong foundation, or maybe you’ve been together for years and are feeling more like roommates than partners. You might be navigating repeated arguments that never seem to get resolved, struggling to feel close again after a hurt, or simply longing to reconnect and feel like a team.
In couples counseling, we’ll slow things down and look beneath the surface of the conflict to understand what’s really happening between you — the emotions, needs, and fears that drive disconnection. It’s not about blame or who’s “right,” but about learning to see and hear each other with empathy and curiosity.
I offer premarital counseling using the Prepare/Enrich framework, as well as therapy for couples who feel stuck, disconnected, or overwhelmed by recurring patterns. Drawing from research-based, attachment-focused approaches, I help partners rebuild trust, improve communication, and restore emotional safety.
Whether you’re dating, newly married, or years into life together, my goal is to help you move from tension toward understanding, closeness, and lasting connection — creating a relationship that feels like home again.
Couples Counseling
Children often show us through their behavior what they don’t yet have words to say. Big feelings like worry, sadness, anger, or confusion can sometimes look like defiance, clinginess, or withdrawal — leaving parents unsure how to help. Whether your child is coping with anxiety, adjusting to a divorce or family transition, or facing challenges with emotion regulation or self-esteem, therapy can provide tools for healing and resilience.
In our work together, I create a warm, play-based environment where your child can feel safe to explore and express what’s going on inside. Through art, storytelling, movement, or conversation — depending on your child’s age and comfort — I help them put words to their feelings, practice new coping skills, and begin to feel more in control of their emotions.
At the same time, I work closely with parents and caregivers, offering insight and strategies you can use at home to strengthen connection and communication. My approach honors that you know your child best, and together we’ll build on that bond to support your child’s growth.
Whether we’re working on calming anxious thoughts, navigating changes in family dynamics, or building confidence and emotional awareness, my goal is to help your child — and your family — move through hard seasons with greater connection, confidence, and care.
