Welcome!
I’m Katherine Bell, a pre-licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Tennessee, providing therapy for individuals, couples, and families who want to find deeper connection, resilience, and self-understanding. I specialize in helping clients navigate anxiety, relationship challenges, and life transitions through a warm, attachment-based approach that honors both emotion and story.
Whether you’re seeking individual therapy to manage stress or anxiety, couples counseling to strengthen communication and emotional closeness, or family therapy to foster harmony at home, my goal is to help you slow down, make sense of your experiences, and create lasting, meaningful change.
As a wife and mom, I understand how full life can feel when you’re caring for others while trying to stay grounded yourself. Outside of therapy, I love spending time with my husband, our child, and our two playful doodles. You’ll often find me gardening, exploring the outdoors, or sipping iced coffee—simple joys that remind me to stay present and connected, both in my personal life and in my work with clients.
Before beginning my therapy practice, I worked in the mental health nonprofit sector, where I led projects focused on program development, workforce training, and systems change to support the well-being of children and families in Tennessee. I also serve as an adjunct professor of psychology at Volunteer State Community College, where I enjoy helping students from all walks of life explore how psychology shapes the way we learn, grow, and relate to others.
These experiences shape how I show up in therapy: with curiosity, compassion, and deep respect for each person’s story.
If something in this resonates with you, I’d love to talk more. I offer in-person sessions in Gallatin, Tennessee, and online therapy for anyone in Tennessee.
